Horseback Riding

As part of your western adventure at the Luark Ranch we'll get to know each other and then it's time to saddle up. We'll help you pick the perfect horse, and then give you plenty of time to get to know him. Our ranch features a large indoor riding arena, as well as guided trail rides through private, wide open ranges and quaking Aspen Forests. One trail even leads to the majestic Colorado River! Depending on the time of year, you might even catch a cattle drive!

*NOTE: This is only available for ages 6 & up.

Join us for a ride on top of King Mountain to 10,000 feet above sea level. Enjoy the panoramic views of the snow-capped mountain ranges of Castle Peak, the Flattops Wilderness, and Vail Ski Area. Be sure to look for herds of elk, moose, or deer, and occasional coyote, and of course, eagles. This is all part of our working ranch experience.
